The problem was obvious. The solution was not.
Senior living facilities manage extraordinary complexity with remarkably thin technology infrastructure. Medication schedules tracked in binders. Vitals recorded on paper and transcribed hours later. Family communication dependent entirely on whether a nurse had a free moment to call. Fall incidents discovered after the fact. Alert systems that cry wolf so often that nurses learn to ignore them.
Aldra was founded in Dallas in 2025 with a simple conviction: the best technology in the world should be working in the places where the most vulnerable people live, not just in hospital systems and tech company offices. We started by spending months inside senior living facilities, talking to nurses, administrators, and families, before we wrote a single line of code. The product reflects what we heard.
We are building toward a future where a family never has to wonder whether their loved one took their medications today. Where a nurse is never surprised by a fall that the data predicted. Where the last years of someone's life are spent being genuinely well cared for, not just adequately managed.
